Picking up pace

So it goes, that the reality of work should set in just before the long - it's Labour Day on Monday - weekend comes. I should have opened the package marked "Urgent" earlier - after all, there must have been a reason why they placed that bright green sticker on the envelope. To my horror, I discovered that I have pre-work for a course that I'm attending in mid-Sep. Due by Monday. But isn't that great? It's a good sign of what there is to learn from the School. My course pre-work package comprised an information/orientation folder, empty learning journal (for thoughts and reflections), and 2 classics. Brilliant.

To reward myself for playing catch up (if you know me, you know that classics are not part of my reading diet. I like children's books much better, if you need to calibrate where I am...), I decided to stroll through the Byward Market. I heard that the market will be open through Fall actually, not closed after summer like some people told me. I was encouraged to go pick up a pumpkin or two when the time comes round. Well, it looks like the people at the market are already anticipating the colours and flavours of Fall :-)
